This last series restored my faith in fairness. We were the better team and we won. In the process, we actually got some breaks and fair officiating. We were so used to it being the other way around that we expected the worse. I’m sure a lot of Caps fans cringed when Backstrom missed the open net and fully expected Vegas to go on to win the game and the series.
Well, we deserved to win and we did!

Still unbelievable, 2nd round losers went all the way and won it!

One more thing - wasn’t it great that Reeves was benched for the last game. After he was played up to be their 4th line hero, he showed he is just a low-talent thug.

I think in hockey always some randomness, which is a bit gambling, but ti get good bounces it's need to work hard. Actually it's not only hockey. Congrats!
