Can you say Kuzy instead of Suzy now? I think he's earned it lol.

. . . for now 🧐
But any slightest return to his ol Suzy bullshit, and we should of give it to em worse then ever. We’ve seen how they can play, and now they have the responsibility of being Champions, no more free passes

Made two trips to Dick's, where about 50 people (and more streaming in after me) patiently waited for boxes of t-shirts to arrive on a big truck that was making stops on route 7 headed west to all of the Dick's stores on the way. The employees didn't even have time to tag the shirts--we were just happy to (politely) rummage through the boxes right off the truck! It was funny, everyone bonding over the experience.
I recorded 4 of the 5 games in the Cup final (one mysteriously got deleted) and now WISH I had recorded every game throughout the playoffs. Sigh. Would have made for great summertime television... ;D

I got lucky. I got one of the Dicks employees to break the rules for me and they are holding two Stanley Cup Champions shirts for me to pick up tomorrow. All t hey had was grey shirts, but are expecting deliveries all weekend for more Stanley Cup Champions Washington Capitals T-shirts. Maybe I'll get lucky and find some cool cotton red ones for the parade on Tuesday.

I was SO sick yesterday and by game time I had not slept in almost two days or more than a 2-3 hours over the last four days. But in spite of all that I enjoyed the heck out of that game. I had no doubt we would win it. I wasn't even bothered by being down a goal. We utterly dominated the "Cinderella" team. Sometimes I think I'm not even sure how the Vedas team that we saw got there to begin with. Was the hype simply psyching out other better teams like the Sharks and Kings, and Jets? Naw! I think it was simply that the Capitals were not going to be denied. This is what I sensed since the first series. I very much wanted to voice that on here, but I knew it would not well accepted. I would have been accused of jinxing the team or something, but unlike other years where I am a nervous wreck I was never worried. The skill level of the teams the past few years were better on paper, yet they made me sweat it out and then landed in disappointment. To my wife, my son, and my dad I was flat out saying this team is winning the cup. My dad has lived in Las Wages since the late `70s. He said the Knights were exactly what I said the Caps were. Then I told him my prediction that we'd probably lose the first game and that we'd sweep the next four, totally dominating Vegas. He called me today to congratulate me/us for winning.
This is so awesome! Even though I am very sick right now I am not missing the parade on Tuesday. This has been at the top of my bucket list longer than anything.
I really hope to see some of you at the parade.
