RIP Klub Kettler

Admittedly I'm still on a high after last night's win, but I really wanted to acknowledge this huge step forward.

For years we have noticed the KK (Klub Kettler) effect and have commented on it.  It was almost endemic and we thought it would never be broken, but it has been.  It is.  This is the result.

From my very first days as a Caps fan I have championed TEAM over individuals and have criticised the disparity within the team.  The "them and US! divide.  The Klub Kettler curse.

It is done.  We have and ARE a TEAM.

RIP KK.   :raspberry:

I wonder if tampa bay is like the old capitals. they have so much talent, mediocre defense and vasil reminds me of varly in that he is hit or miss. And they get shut out by team-based defense and a hot goalie.

they got farther than the capitals but that's more just because capitals always play the penguins in the second round.
