yep, I expected Tampa to do better are game 1, they played worse, and if you take away the two zebra gifts it woulda been a shutout

It was so nice to see OUR team playing such good hockey--stealing pucks, moving in a pack toward the net, crisp passing, helping Holtby out whenever Tampa was threatening. 
I couldn't care less about the Tampa fans and how sad they are, how befuddled the talking heads are that we are playing well...so tired of this narrative. 
Want to hear more about our young players and how they are playing way beyond expectations--not about Vegas and their success as a new team...want some praise for Ovechkin and how he is rising to the occasion this playoff season--not about what the other team must do to keep up with us.

Alan May hit the nail on the head and it's what we've all said before, Caps are finally taking the puck to the net and fighting instead of shooting from the perimeter. Every time we saw glimpses of this it paid dividends and then they seemed to forget about it the next game. Now it's a regular occurrence.

This team is spectacular and a SICK good team.  If we can stay healthy I don't see much holding us back. We just made Tampa Bay look silly two games in a row ON THEIR ICE.
