the outcome of this will be interesting...
Marchand is well known for much dirtier hitting than Willy is. We will see how hypocritical the league is, or if their hand was forced because what they just did to Willy.

That's another one Marchand is known for. If it were me I'd make it publicly known I'd break my stick over his head if he did it to me, then pay a nice fine to the NHL as I let it be known what I though of them suspending me for "high sticking". This is yet one more thing DOP could fix with fines and suspensions the next day, but won't.

NHL surprised me by issuing Marchand a warning about licking, but nothing about that high hit

   He should have gotten at least a penalty for unsportsmanlike for licking the guy. That is fucking creepy. If you think about it, that could be considered sexual harassment. Although I'm sure Marchand didn't mean it that way. I hope he didn't. Anyway if it happened to me he would get a beatdown.

I was a bit surprised by the Marchand licks. I mean he never even played for Pittsburgh, so I don't know where he got the idea.  :lol:
Had he played for Shittsburgh he would have known you save that stuff for off the ice.

   He did play on a line with Crosby on the world cup for team Canada. So maybe Crosby rubbed off on him. Or he rubbed one off on him. I'm sure they are a couple of fruitcakes.

I don't understand why, if someone is licked by Marchand, they don't simply grab his tongue and skate away.

kinda hard to do with hockey gloves on. A stick to the head is a better option, or a stick to the nut sack would get the point across as well
