I almost threw the remote when I saw him come out for the shootout

just watched the post game with Carbs...
Goalie coach been working with shootout guys - he was screaming in Carbs earpiece to put Dowd in Shootout lineup - he been working on a move.

I heard that too. Bummer it took till Feb to figure out they still had Matt Hendricks on the roster!  :snicker:  I figured it was just one of his gut feelings that never work out. 


I'd still like to know what he was thinking with Carlson, Ovi and Beauvi on the ice for the last shift of OT.. That was one stray shot away from instant 3 on 1 death. lol

so looking back at this game...the Caps actually came out on the winning side of not 1 goal review, but 2.  Wings score 6 on 5 then score another 6 on 5 on the oddest (and unfair) bounce off the camera hole cover ever to force OT.  The Caps survive OT and then all 3 Caps shooters score in the shootout?  Was there a blue moon?  Did anyone see a Leprechaun riding a unicorn?
