It’s being reported that McIlrath is in again. Willy tweaked something in his lower right leg, as we saw in the replay. After Protas went into the boards hard someone on the broadcast said it was his ankle. Hopefully that’s minor because bad ankle injuries never really heal completely.

Injury bug sucks. Hate that Pro was apparently ready to return, then IR.    Not sure why they'd play BigMac again tonight? His bad breakout (off McMike's skate) led directly to a Ducks goal. But whatever.. Looks like we'll be playing 9 forwards tonight. I expect Milano-Lappi-Leason to get about 2 shifts per period.

BigMac is not so swift, but he is a big crease clearing guy when needed.  Not sure how big Dallas is, but I expect BigMac is in there at least partly to make up for poundage lost in Pro and Willy being out.  I don't mind Mac in there.  At lease 1/2 our D is pretty not physical; Sandin, TVR, Carlson.
Not sure I blame Mac 100% for that one...yes bad clear, but WTF was McMike and Fever both doing down there along the goal line on the same side?  Mac looked up to right boards and NOBODY was there so he goes left and McMike and Fever were both kind of in no mans land.  NOBODY in front of the net for us either.  I went back and watched and Dowd had turned and went off for a change so there was no Center on the ice.  It was kind of odd cuz nobody was really pressured - maybe should have waited for Leno to get to right boards or the next C to get into the zone.  It was a bad pass and a worse bounce.
