Still shocked they gave us the Strome goal. Never did get a clean look at it IN the net. But the NHL loves the "it probably was" calls.  :rofl:

Well - that was disappointing - expected a better effort right before the break. Even so, I thought Beauvy was one of the guys that played weil and Milano did Ok. Only bright spot was Lenny.


On the negative side, I thought out entire D stunk tonight. Very soft and Carlson led the way.  Man, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope they don't resign him.


I'm also getting worried about the resigning of Ovi.  The longer the season goes on and he doesn't announce his retirement, the more likely it is that he comes back for one more year. If he does, he has the Caps in a bind. He can pretty much name his price and the Caps have to pay him.

So I think that game just shows how critical Willy is to this team. Without him, we are physically easy to play against. Nobody has to worry about any of our guys hitting them and they can just buzz around at will.   Not sure there is an answer as the only other regular starter that is even remotely tough is Duhaime.
