Daayum! Surprise surprise!! Nice 3rd period and LT woke up and was sharp as a tack!


I was pissed off 3/4 of the game cause we got robbed 30 seconds in.  :snicker: 


Sunday at... 1pm  Oh well, Sorry ass Redskins don't play till 8, so alls good!  :raspberry:

Great game! Confident team and Chicky continues to be incredible. Leonard is getting better every game.


We have been ragging on TVR, but I thought he played really well today.  Maybe scratching a guy every now and then is a good thing!  I would like to see them keep doing that on D, just to keep our guys fresh - except Chicky - keep him out there!!!

Leonard didn't have any Hershey time - went straight from college to the NHL.  That's a big jump, and he'll work into what he can be at the NHL level over time. 


As Mick says, special teams are a big problem right now.  That needs to get fix ed at some point.  Our other big problem at the moment is our center depth, with Dowd out for a bit and DuBois out long term.  I would simply mention that the best player at Hershey this season is ..... Ilya Protas, Alexai's "little" brother at 6'6", 225, who happens to play ..... Center.  Will we see him in Washington this season?  He's only 19.

Leonard and Sourdif have been playing quite well lately.  Chychrun is playing great.  If this team could get its act together on the PP and PK, they might end up being much better than I imagined this season.

Ya - have to admit I was wrong on Sourdif.  He has been good, but we can only have so many of those small forwards. I would put Sourdif, Lappy, McMike, MIlano and Leonard all in the undersized category. Leonard plays a little bigger and hopefully will grow some more. We need more beef up front.

Sourdif has been playing well, but he's also playing with Wilson and Protas. Something I didn't realize after his 1st game in for Dowd. He's still doing better than I figured he would though.
