I'd rather play the guys that will be playing for us in the playoffs. I don't think Gerisch will be playing in the playoffs.

management made a big deal about bringing him in, wants him to contribute in the playoffs. He hadn’t played in a month before the other night, aren’t that many games left to get him in shape, and he actually played well

I don't think he will get much playing time in the playoffs if any. It is safer to play the guys that have been in the system all season. Its not like he is going to be a top 6 forward this season.
