I think the ice quality had a fair amount to do with the sloppy play - that was just crummy ice. Chucky saved their bacon!

Putting Ovi out there for the last minute was a risk that I wouldn't have taken tonight.

Oh well, played lousy and still eaked out a win. Now lets get one more on Sunday then ALL of our guys get to rest during that stupid 4 Nations thing.

Just as a point of reference, good friend and former Cap Marcus Johansson, now 34 years old, has 179 total goals in his career.

Just when I thought Ovie was really laboring on the ice, he starts kicking it in gear again. All of a sudden the 4 Nation tourney, which looked as if he could provide him another break, may turn out instead to be another momentum-interruptor.
