So Ovi has not played great this year - right?  He has definitely slowed down and is often a liability on defense.  I think his hand-eye coordination has slipped as well as he has whiffed or shanked a lot of shots this year that he normally would nail. And yet, here he is with 30 goals.  Just incredible.  Plus, if he hits the shots he normally does and if he doesn't miss the games due to injury, he would probably be looking at a 50+ goal season.

Before today’s game vs Tampa, Alexeyev was sent to Hershey for a conditioning loan. Could be he just needs to get some game speed in, could be a move to make room for Milano. But, a conditioning loan is only good for 10 days.

COTA was one of the better road races Nascar has put on in quite a while! Was hoping Busch could pull it out, but better tires got him.

The only reason I turned it on was because it’s COTA. I will say the shorter lap was a good idea for these cars. But, as usual, I didn’t see the end of the race because I wanted to eat dinner at a decent hour. I had to turn if off with 25 laps remaining. Fuck nascrap and these 3:00 pm starts. Why even bother if I can’t see the end. 80% of the population of this country lives east of Houston, and, I’d bet 80% of nascrap fans live east of the Mississippi. That means the east and central time zones. Yet nascrap refuses to use lube when they bend their fans over.
