14 games and only 8 points away from (very) early golf!! (And Fl with 2 games in the tank) It'll be hard but I think they can do it!!  :poop:

I cant stand when he turns his back to 2/3 of the ice so that he has no idea where the opposition is when he leaves it for a teammate. He does it in slow motion and looks so clueless. Like he's thinking well sh!t, I don't have the answer how about you... Eventually someone is gonna steal one of those casual passes and score.

Agree with you there on Backy. He does look slow and definitely like he does not want the puck on his stick. He looks like he's thinking pass even before he has possession. His turnover to carter right in front of the net (Which Grubby grabbed like a ninja) looked like a certain goal.

This team has been built on a “star player platform” and the front office allows, if not wants that.

Really, how many times do you think Oviedo been late since he was scratched for being late a few years ago?  No way in hell do  believe zero.

Agree,on the other hand the team is struggling with offense, defense, the team doesn’t show any performance in away games,we have lost 3-4 matches to Chicago,Columbus,Ducks without any efforts, how we play in power plays,in addition something wrong with Holtby this season, therefore in my opinion the responsibility of those results is the Trotz,as team right now has psychological problems, struggling with scoring goals and loosing every match and the only way to fix it and shake a team spirit is fire him..

But that isn't the only way. We've had like, ten coaches with the  majority of this core. Every single time we fired a coach, people cited this same bullshit. "Coach has lost the team, pysche problem." Ovechkin and co are babies. That is the problem. They have zero heart, work ethic or commitment and they lose because they don't have it in them to do better. The going gets tough and they get going. That old adage has always yelled true to this club. But it's okay we'll keep doing the coach swap dance and wonder why it never fixes our problems. Keep on buying the media hype people, what a bunch of garbage.

Meanwhile Trotz, who is a quality NHL coach make no mistake about that, the moment people heard rumors of him maybe getting fired here, he'll have a job in the NHL again in no time. No different than the other coaches we fired who have no issues making other teams better. We are the problem, it's as simple as that.
