GDT #19 Caps at Blues @ 8pm

Wasn't Orlov day to day and even traveling with the team like a week ago?

richkrt99:
FFS - I just watched a 9 min condensed version of the game...
1st goal Lindy was a little off or leaning and I believe should probably have that one, but the odd man rush was thanks to John Carlson getting stripped of the puck at the offensive blue line
2nd goal - Mr. Norris appears to pivot forward to reverse like a 1st year amateur skater at his own blue line whilst the Blue just blows around him down the wing and around the net for wrap around goal.  Note (in the picture provided) there are TWO Blues, (one with the puck) between Caps open net and both our D.  That's some good defensive positioning there.

I will say Mr. Norris did contribute - he was on the ice for 6 of the 8 goals scored.  Too bad 3 of them were for the opponent.

Maybe we can just give up on playing D and outscore the opponents the rest of the way.  Oh wait....we tried that already...

Mickstix:
May or someone said the wrap around goal "looked" like it was on Carlson, but was actually on Kuzy for not staying with his man? I didn't go back and look for myself. I'll stick with Dylan just getting beat, as usual.  :raspberry:

And yea, Orlov has traveled with them to Fl and St. Louis, but.. Think JoeB said he hopes to see him back in the lineup tomorrow night. Not sure if he knew anything or was just wishful thinking..

I didn’t see an official announcement from the team, but Orlov was listed as IR the day Carlson came back. I believe that was done because Orly wasn’t ready and so they didn’t have to send anyone back to Hershey. So far today no one has been sent back to Hershey.
