Oshie and Carlson are both listed as lower body. Carlson is out day to day, Oshie is out indefinitely. Neither will play tonight.

I don't foresee the Caps really missing Johnnie Q Norris, except for the number of minutes he plays.  Fever and Orlov can handle more minutes.  Irwin can be no worse than Johnny on D.  They will miss his offensive side, but he's been a defensive liability all year.  Irwin probably can't skate like Johnny, but we will see how it goes.  I don't see them missing him on the PP - anyone should be able to pass the puck to Ovie so the Canes can block his shot.
Oshie brings more in spirit than in actual scoring these days.  Hopefully McMike sees this for the opportunity it is and does something good to earn a permanent spot....I'm afeared he's about to "not work" his way out a roster spot permanently.


Canes will be a real test.  Bring it Caps.
