I could’ve said no without looking it up, but I did anyway. Bruce was the head coach in 2002–03. Wardo played here 2011-15.

Leafs are $8.8m OVER the cap
Expected to have $5.5m in LTIR relief, but still over by $3m

They signed so FA's (Bertuzzi, Domi, Reaves, Klingberg).  Guess they decided they needed some grit.

AND they've yet to sign FA Samsonov.  Don't see how they can at this point.  Sammy started 40 games and had 27 wins for Toronto last year

If you don’t know, ‘67 would be the last time the Leafs won the Cup..

I didn’t see the race, but I noticed it’s always fun getting a DNF just because the car got flat tires.

I'll stick with Nascar until hockey starts back, thanks.  :snicker:

Yea, hope they figure something out. Took 10+ minutes at Pocono to get a spun out car off the track (they had 2 in qualifying) and Joey got a DNF cause he was stranded and they tore his car up towing it back. Tow truck needs a couple tires on board. Bolt em' up and send them on their way, back to pit road.

When the Caps open the 23-24 season on October 13 vs the ice chickens, OV will be 15 points from 1500 for his career. He will be the 16th player to achieve that mark.

When the Richmond fall race was held in September, the weather was usually very pleasant. Plus it was a night race. The geniuses at nascar have moved that date to what is normally the hottest time of year for the region. Fridays forecast is sunny and 99*(37C), Saturday is sunny and 98*. But they might get lucky on Sunday, when the forecast is 90* and rain.

They'll try anything -BUT- what actually worked. March afternoon races and September night races were always a blast with decent weather.

If you're bored tonight at 9pm and have ESPN, tune in for some -actual- old school short track racing, from Pulaski Va. (Motor Mile) with some old and current legends! Thursday Night Thunder, SRX style!! Stewart, Labonte, Schrader, Newman, Keselowski, Bowyer, Ky Busch, etc..

*Plus, like the old days, you get to hear Alan Bestwick call the race. Probably still the best color commentator in the business!

What do you think of this Deegan kid, is she not aggressive enough or just not good enough?

Both. She's the same way in the Truck series. Always in the back, getting into wrecks. SRX she's usually getting run over or just caught up though, so not really her fault. Still rarely fast enough to compete with the boys though, unfortunately. I like her. Wish she was better. Not sure why they can't find a girl who can actually drive. Drag racing doesn't have any problems finding successful females.

Damn - wish I had seen this earlier.  I'm close enough I could have run over and caught that.  Saw Bobby Labonte run at our local short track [Thornburg] last year.  Had a nice crowd out to watch him  - finished 3rd if I remember correctly.
