I think his wife or somebody said the reattached ear story was wrong? Who knows. Looks like a mark around his cheekbone but no real idea what or why he'd need to miss so much time. Someone else speculated (in that tweet) that it could be a ruptured ear drum, similar to another hockey player injury who was struck in the side of the head by a puck?

I'm worried a bit about Willy. I think it is gonna take the rest of this year before he can get his skating back to form, maybe it will take the whole off season. It has to be hard to have a major knee injury, surgery, and then come back to play the hardest sport in the world on your legs - and to not be tentative.

Right now I can't see that our aggressive D-activation scheme will work in the playoffs with this D corps.  I also can't see how any real moves by the deadline will fundamentally change the team.   I do hope the break will heal some bodies, but if the only thing being floated now is '...........we are listening to offers for Eller..............' then good fn luck.

I will enjoy the rest of the season but if the Hens get hot or the Sabes stay hot,  they might as well start reserving T times....

NHL is whacky.. They're off tonight, tomorrow, asg skills Sat, asg game Sun. NHL has regular games scheduled again for Mon.  :huh:


Guess this week is where we'll get back closer to having a similar amount of games played, as the rest of the Metro?
