    Pretty pathetic game. This team has to tighten up or they will not make the playoffs.
    Some questionable goaltending,  our forwards aren't helping enough defensively, we turn the puck over entering the zone way too often instead of getting the puck deep, we don't spend enough time cycling the puck in the offensive zone and we get owned in the faceoff circle almost every game.
   We have to be the worst faceoff team in the league. I believe we were at the bottom last season too.
     I was concerned about our goaltending before the season started and I think there is reason for concern. Vitek had a nice run but it looks like the wheels have fallen off. He is making fundamental mistakes, as was Sammy when he played.
And our 3rd goalie is washed up. The best goalie in the Caps system might be Copley. That's scary.

Not sure I see a path to the playoffs with this team? Who we gonna bump/beat? Pittsburgh, Boston, Filly, NYI??


NJ and Buf both have games in hand that could pass us in points. 


D sucks, goalies suck, forwards can't win a faceoff or forecheck/backcheck.


Guess we can hope it's rust and we'll all of a sudden be good..

This team seems to have no aggressiveness or physical play. No big hits no fights, that is what is needed. It seems the new coach doesn't believe in hitting and fighting. Back when Barry was coach the caps didn't take any shit now they look like a bunch of pussies.

I'd rather not. The industry still blames the Caps for that concussion he got the game after they played the Caps outdoors. I rather see one of our players just beat the snot out of him the old fashioned way.

How about trying something new....like winning a game against the fucking Hens. 


I saw the first and about half the second before I had to go to work.  Come home at 1:30am and watched the rest (wise move)


I hate the Hens.  Hate playing them cause we should e a better team but we usually bring at least two facets of suck to our games vs the Hens.  Sad thing is they are not really that good.  They have lots of holes including goaltending, but they do still have a scoring punch which works against weak teams (like the Caps have been)


I'd love to see some retaliation against Crybaby, but it will never happen.  It would be too costly.  Who are you willing to give up for a major suspension which is what anything against the golden crybaby would result in.  Hey, maybe we can back Kevin Kaminsky for one game?


I did see Dowd back on the ice playing in the third.  That dude must have bionic tendons.  That leg/knee was awfully bent.


I should have just skipped this game and gone out for Poutine.  Would have been more satisfying.
