Ovie.....meh...that sum bitch don't skate that hard anyway and his skills are pretty engrained at this point and he HAS been the franchise for so long...he gets some slack.
Kuzy and Orlov....Go the F back to Russia and snort your coke and play your game...or don't. Nobody cares.
Actually, I think Kuzy could be one of the most dynamic and skilled guys in the league but he's got a serious mental issue that just prevents him from caring enough or applying himself or whatever. It's a drag because he has so much potential, but just can't seem to find whatever it is to make him get out of his own way and BE what he could be. Such a waste, which is why there might be just the hint of animosity toward him. IF he could be the player he was in the SC playoff run....he'd be phenomenal and a hall of famer.
Orlov...meh has improved I think, but with the guys we CURRENTLY have...I'd trade bait that M'fr for the salary and use it to get a decent center to replace Kuzy.
Sadly, you have to point to the captain here. I know they were just being homies, and I don't believe they really did anything wrong, but Ovie, being the captain AND the face of the franchise, needs to be better about leading the guys in the right direction and being accountable for the rules even if you (and I) think they are sheit. The needs of the team outweigh.....
