It's horrible to watch this level of performance night after night. They don't connect passes, they don't skate hard, they don't get back defensively, they don't go to the net, they don't clear the crease, and Samsonov needs to stop handling the puck because every time he does it's a fucking disaster.

Pretty accurate I’d say!
During January and part of February, if you recall, we were playing like shit the first two periods, often, and then would come out playing high energy and dominating in either part or most of the third period!
Sometimes the effort would pay off, and sometimes not!
I’ve noticed, however that it’s been almost a month since we’ve even had a strong third period to make even a showing!
We are even losing the option to say “well we won, but we know you can’t only play 20 minutes of hockey“! Not even that excuse is gone.
4-4 tied in the 3rd, and Philly isn’t really even having a good game! Maybe just slightly above average,
Anyway not much left to say, except I hope the Caps get two points!
