the guy's name is Wood, he's the same guy that cross checked Panik in the face which is why Panik is wearing the face guard, I think Wood was trying to avoid a beat down by Willy.

Didn't get to watch the game, but Sammy with 32 out of 34 shots saved is solid. He's doing exactly what we need him to do. Anytime a goalie keeps the goals against to 2 or less, he's doing his job and everything else lies on the shoulders of the guys in front of him.


Fun fact - Sammy has kept it to 2 or less goals against in 11 out of 17 games played. Holtby? 12 out of 32 games played. One guy is getting it done and giving us a chance at winning. The other is not.

Sammy now leads the NHL in GAA and is 7th in SV%.

And I missed the game.  Worked super long day.  started watching the game about 10.  Fell asleep halfway thru the 1st.
Was avoiding the boards so not to see the score so I could watch tonight.


But heard about the hat trick 806 times on the radio today so came to the boards to peruse.  (Didn't know I had been slandered in my absence) :raspberry:
