The fuckin’ BEST icing machine in the business!!!

Not blaming THIS game, at all, on Holtz, as that particular one, was an impossible OT shot to block, but generally speaking, 3 on 3 goaltending is NOT Holtby’s forte!! He’s just basically below average at it!
Holtz has many a game where he will stand on his head during regulation, but is horribly unreliable in 3 on 3!
Again I know there was no way any goaltender could’ve gotten that OT shot tonite, but we aren’t stepping up to the plate in overtime three on three!

Overall good game, playing a VERY good Oilers hockey club!
Got a point on the road, but like Mick says, these frickin 2 point, 3rd period lead, games are gettin OLD, real fast!

They need to find an answer for these 3rd period energy drop offs!!
The crap teams won’t be able to take advantage of it, but the good ones will sense it quick, and capitalize! The league will get smart on this, and be able to expose us, if we don’t correct soon!!

I don’t know why I watched OT, I knew what the outcome was going to be. The Oilers were in complete control of the final 15 minutes

Said the same thing to myself when OT started, Alta!
As things are now, I have very little confidence in our 3 on 3! Especially if we play a team with solid production!

And the way we’ve handled these two point leads in the third, they’re most DEF gonna need to work on a lot of 3 on 3 OT!

As I’ve mentioned, I’ve gradually tailed away from MLB over the years.
But this stuff is exciting, and talk about a team PEAKING at playoff time!! It’s not unsimilar to the caps Stanley Cup year!
Stras and Scherzer looked real good. Scherz really honed in on the knees, where the ump was calling them in game 1.
Agree also that the game two ump was inconsistent, and as the game went on at least it was inconsistent for both sides! LOL!!
Nats look very strong, buddy!!

Well that was a great game...until it sucked

1). Ovi looked great (for most of the game)
2. Holt by looked great (for most of the game)
3. Caps were the better team most of the game but started that coasting crap with 10 minutes left.

Why the F is Ovi on the ice with 1 minute left on a 5 on 6? Cause they trying to get him the ENG Hattie INSTEAD of securing a win.

Why the f did they not call icing multiple times on the oilers when it was icing
How the f did oilers not get called for too many men on the ice about five friggin times in the third period alone

Pretty well played 46 minutes of hockey. Needed about 47

Pretty much new it was over with 3 on 3. When Backy couldn’t wrap it I knew it was coming for sure
