Indirectly, DC raises the big question: Is this just a [totally unprecedented] hot streak for Wilson which will eventually end and he will go back to being much, if not virtually, the same player he has been in his career thus far? Or is this in fact a fundamentally different and more dangerous Tom Wilson that has been unleashed on the NHL? One thing to remember: In last year's playoffs, Wilson produced at a rate that, when extrapolated to an 80-game season, would yield 60 points. Given his suspension, if he plays the rest of the year at that pace overall he would accumulate close to 50 points. In 7+games thus far, he already has 10.
