I hate to say this, but I doubt they care. You’d think that a defending Cup team returning 11 forwards with 10 available, can do more than minimal adjustments and a line that provides next to nothing except eating a couple minutes off the clock.

The inability and unwillingness to adjust so there are at least just four effective lines can turn into a big problem.

why does the bullets banner say Washington on it when they were the Baltimore Bullets when they won? If they're gonna change the city they may as put wizards on the banner too

Well of course. The 4th line is the only real part of the team that has changed. Players are changing on the line and after all, the Caps haven't played in almost a week. It isn't exactly surprising that the 4th line doesn't have its act together.

If I was Holtby, I'd beat the hell out of half the team when everyone got back to the locker room. Orlov and Djoos are taking half of their shifts off. Burkovsky has been just the nice side of useless. Stupid drop-passes right to Knight players .....

either the Caps are trying to adjust on the fly and failing miserably, or the bench totally screwed up.

How was Vrana, Eller, and DSP out there at the same time for that GAG?

I can understand double-shifting DSP, but juggling lines that much, particularly in the game is very unlike us.
