They could drop 3-4 more the way they look.  Somebody has to tell these guys to shoot the damn puck.  We had a couple chances today with guys in the slot with a good chance and they passed it off to somebody with no chance at all.  Carlson and Strome come to mind but there was at least one other.  Kudos to TB, though.  They played on the puck non-stop in both ends.  That's how you win.

I got bits and pieces on the radio today. The SOG after 2 periods was hot garbage, and after 3.
Caps 21 SOG, Tampa 19 for the game.


Each team had 4 PPs, according to the score sheet.

Caps SOGs have been terrible for the last 10 games or so.  If it weren't for Chychrun they would be even worse.


I'm not liking the decline I am seeing in Protas lately.  Seems to have a lower energy level and his shot is off. Hopefully he is not running out of gas.


On the other hand, maybe McMike is coming back into his early season form.
