Caps fortunate to gut out a point in this one - even 7 out of 10 points on the trip is a definite win.  7 standings points in 5 games projects to about 115 points for the season.

Not sure what was going on in OT. Send out Dowd for an O zone draw, he loses it. Then at the other end, he completely forgets they're 3 on 3 and leaves his man?  :huh: Oof..

Ya - I've been calling for Carbs to start Dowd in OT to get the faceoff and thought he would be really good. Turns out Carbs knows more about hockey than I do.....

Well, the good thing about this game was that it got some key guys going again - McMike and Strome.  And getting a goal from Ovi always helps.  They are gonna have a stinker every now and then, but I thought the did just fine in 5 on 5 and ended up with 7 out of 10 points on the trip. Not bad.
