The ‘24-‘25 boredom thread..

Training camp started today, so, new season new thread. I don’t make the rules.
 


Management has said Oshie and Backstrom will be on LTIR all season, which gives the team a little breathing room in cap space. According to the crappy cap sites still available for free, the Caps are $10.27M over the cap. Backy and Oshie being on LTIR will save $14.95M. Which should give the Caps $4.68M of cap space. That will be nice when the inevitable injury happens.


Ovechkin apparently has a minor injury, but is skating with the team. Rasmus Sandin is still in Sweden.. visa issues.

I missed the first hour, the rest was rather boring. It reminded me of when they had the wrong tire at Darlington and could go 100 laps on a set.

maybe the last one or two, it’s usually not worth it for these early games because the personnel change so much.

Not for nothin', but the Redskins have now gone 2 full games, scoring on every "competitive" possession.. Defense still sucks, so it was close, but they just smoked the Bengals on MNF, on the road, 38-33   


It appears as if Jayden Daniels is him.. Just had the best rookie passing % night in NFL history. 2 TD's, 1 rushing TD, like 93% completions, no turnovers.. Leads the league in QB rushing TD's.
