Good game from the boys.  Kuemper played well enough to win, but I wasn't expecting much from him in SO.
Is it just me, or did most of the SO shots look like they guys were just warming up at the beginning of a practice and not trying that hard?
Last SO victory by a Caps Dman....Brooks Orpik. .  That's a good trivia question.  I remember that and remember them asking Orpik after and he was like...Huh?  who me?  WTF.  okay...and goes out and scores for the winner.

Did I mention I hate that BS offsides callback shit.  I mean just play the game.
They need to change it to IF the goal scored directly as a result of the offsides - like player A with puck passes to player B offsides and he shoots and scores cause he was a step early and unfair jump.  Not that this one was, but when they have to go back 30-40 seconds or more, then too F'n bad, the offsides no longer had any correlation to the goal.  THat's just horseshit.  Not that it matters to the Caps....the call will go against them 9/10 no matter what the rule is.

Should definitely have a zone time limit or player touch rule, for challenging offside. If you score within 10 seconds or something, then it's challengeable. Or if an opposing player touches the puck, should be void. Hell, like you said Rich, just let them play the game. If the refs miss it, the refs miss it.. Reffing, in all sports I watch, is becoming unbearable.
