It’s been 24 hours since the news broke about Ethan Bear, and the most recent news I can find is still he set to sign a two year deal with the Caps. So nothing has happened yet.

For sure. I was thinking they'd need 3-4x the real estate for a pro stadium. I guess back when they tried for the Skins, all that retail on the other side of Potomac Ave wasn't there yet? (I was looking at google, trying to see where they'd put a stadium, had the stadium deal gone through)


But nowadays, we know if there's a patch of trees somewhere, they'll do all they can to pour concrete and asphalt on it!

IR??  :huh:  I remember him (kinda) avoiding a big hit, where he got spun around but didn't think he was hurt after? And IMO, there's better options than Snively, though I like his grit. Frank? Miro? Whatever..

I don't get what the deal is with Frank. He is tearing it up and putting the puck in the net.  If I am him, I'm asking what else do I have to do?  Has to be frustrating.  Snively is just another smurf like Philliips.

Can't remember which, but one of the reporters speculated they called Snively because he's a L shooting LW (like Milano) and they didn't want to disrupt the lines since they're playing well and on the road. Hopefully he gets a shot soon though!

So no Kuzy trade speculation?  Rumors seem to be heating up involving Laine. It's possible that a Kuzy for Laine trade could be in the works.  Kuzy's illness the other night was suspect, especially because he was at an optional practice the next morning.   I'm not sure I like that trade though as Laine might be more of a headache than Kuzy was.  Maybe it would jumpstart both guys, but I doubt it.

I'm not sure this team is really trade worthy.  Are they good enough that bringing in a guy is going to help?
