Yea, I think we'll have a team that can play/compete. Probably for half the season like they did last year. I'm expecting a similar result. Start out ok, hang in the playoff hunt till mid season, then fall on our face when shit really starts to matter. I really hope Ovi can get it done, so we're not stuck signing him to another contract. Im with Wayne though, just not sure how holding onto a bunch of slow old vets is gonna help him get to the mark.

With Big Eddie injured, I'd give Alexeyev the shot.  Although I don't know how lefty/righty plays into it.
I like the way McIlrath plays, but he's what 33 and a career AHL guy.  If you looking for straight up toughness and size though...just not sure he could keep up.
