as best I can tell these lines are it, except Dowd is a game time decision, so
Beags is back in town tonight, along with Boyd, Jaskin, O'Brien and Housley
and Willy gets an "A" on his sweater for the game

What worries me is....
Caps have yet to lose in regulation.
Yotes have yet to win a game
Both are going to happen soon. Let's hope not tonight.
Go Caps!

Yea, Dowd left practice in pain apparently. Could get our 1st look at Leason tonight.
-
Dowd out, Leason in
hope he does well
Lines fixed

Shots on goal stats look good anyway. Gonna need for Eller to step up and start putting pucks in net. 0-fer so far this year..
-
has Phat Phil lost any weight since being in the desert?
-
Where do you get one of them left hand goalies? Apparently they're impossible to score on?
PSA: This one has trap game doom written all over it.
5 PP's vs the worst PK in the league. 0 fer 5.

That shot to the chest hole doesn't seem to be working? :smirk:

also, Sammy gets a shutout

One note about LaPierre: As a 19 year old, if he dresses for 10 or more games he triggers the commitment to the first year of his entry-level contract and must be kept on the NHL roster. Given the players and contract dollars that will have to be shed when Backstrom comes off LTIR and the Caps must get into compliance with the salary cap, I have to believe that the Caps will send him down. He's played 5 games, so he can play in at most 4 more. I suspect that McMichael will be sent down to Hershey as well, but it may be, because of his versatility and relatively inexpensive contract, that he will be kept up. I know the Caps are hard up against the salary cap, so the last few dollars of cap room are important.
