Title: Other games around the league '18-'19

Awesome to see the Canadians slap the Pens around tonight. Murray is looking bad so far this season. Man I hate the Pens.

Good to see Trotz is off to a decent start with the Islanders. They have played some good teams so far. Shutting out the Sharks this afternoon. They have only given up 5 goals in 3 games. Its early but it looks like this team could be pretty good defensively under Trotz after giving up the most goals in the league last season. I think the Caps made a mistake letting Trotz go. We never would have won without his system. The Caps defense and pk actually struggled when Reirden was given more responsibility.

Jesus Man!  Where's the GDT already?

Why is the NHL schedule so...."special" at the beginning of this year.  The Caps are playing their fourth game and another back to back after 5 days off against the Devils who have had four days off to prepare and have only played ONE game thus far this year?

I realize they played in Europe but they have been off four days.  Why not have the Caps played Tuesday and rest Wednesday, and then play Thursday?

WTF NHL?

Not that anyone cares, but.....Shathispants is in the doghouse in NY...

"Quinn made defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk (https://www.nhl.com/player/kevin-shattenkirk-8474031) a healthy scratch when the Rangers play the San Jose Sharks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday (7 p.m. ET; MSG, NBCSCA, NHL.TV). He has already benched Shattenkirk and center Kevin Hayes (https://www.nhl.com/player/kevin-hayes-8475763) for long stretches in games..."

Is Karl Alzner still with Montreal club or did they re-assign him?

I know he was a healthy scratch first two games, but has he played a game for the Habs this season?

The Habs have only played 4 games, after a quick search it doesn't look like he's had any ice time yet. He has no numbers yet this season.
It appears he's getting a sweater tonight because Shaw is out with the flu, but not listed as a starter

simple=.  T.V. 💰💰💵💵 NBC wanted them to get the first national broadcast games so they got screwed with the schedule

Alzner is getting his first start tonight at game 6. Beagle broke/fractured his arm blocking a shot, prognosis is 2 months
