Well, I have hulu and espn+ but still not sure either is an actual channel. lol Im sure I'll find it somewhere in there. No pregame listed, national game.. So, no JoeB I'd imagine. :-(

A mild suggestion from the radio crew that Thompson is being overworked

Can't win em' all. At least we waited to get run over by the Stanley Cup favorites!

I’m really not liking your pessimism

Welp, that sucked. Kinda a good thing I couldn’t watch it.
-
Well Rich, you sure called this one in the Boredom thread.
This just feels like the kind of game where the Caps really missed Protas' defensive discipline. Then of course, once they got behind they had to start taking chances, and they just aren't equipped for doing that against a faster team.
Notice that, with the team needing offense, Hutson's shifts and TOI have gone up. We're probably going to see that for awhile -- when the Caps need offense, his minutes go up. When they are trying to lock down a lead, his minutes will go down.

Now see, I warned of the hard truths that would accompany our downfall, back when we played like contenders for 2 weeks.. :uh-huh: :raspberry: :snicker:

Poop. Well it was inevitable. Honestly the game we lost to the blues was worse IMO. We had a more realistic shot then and....it was the Blues.
Columbus, Philly, Pittsburgh, Boston all lost last night. Detroit and Ottawa won. Would have been a good night to pick up 2 pts. That pushed Ottawa to last WC spot, and moved Detroit ahead of Columbus - all 3 teams have 88 pts
