The fat lady was heard warming up in both locker rooms before the last 3-4 games for each of these teams.
The Caps were 6 points out of 3rd in metro or WC spot TWO weeks ago. Sadly, they have gained 1 point in the last 2 weeks. Six teams ahead of them fighting for the last spot in the metro and 2 WC spots.

After 40 minutes, I think I’ve seen Duhaime on the ice twice, can’t say I’ve seen Kampf or Miro. But I did miss the first 8 minutes of the game.

Coach and his crazy PP lines are confusing at best. But glad Chych and Leo still found the net! 15 shots through 2 periods is Caps weak. Stunned we have 4 goals.
Yea, haven't seen much of Kampf or Miro. More brilliance by coach smart. :snicker: No need to see what they got, we gonna pass 6 teams in 2 weeks to make the playoffs! :smirk:

Survived another one! Nice to see the GOAT and Wilson get a couple each! See what they got Thursday!

Hockey is such an odd game sometimes. 10 goals last night from 42 shots against two very good goalies. Flyers are quick and pretty good, better than their record I think.
Wilson was overdue, glad to see him have a game. That's 27G on the season for him, and 3rd on team in scoring with 54 pts, he has missed about 10 games too.
Ovie with another 30G season is nice. Funny how jaded we are; 30 sounds mediocre for Ovi, but 30 is an excellent benchmark for most guys. Ovi leading the team in scoring (59 pts) at age 40 years old is crazy.
Leno knows how to shoot the puck, and 16G and 23A, he is a having a pretty good rookie season. We desperately need him to be a 30 goal scorer in the future.
Chychrun is a stud, another goal gives him 24 on the season leads the NHL defensemen. 56 pts makes him second on the Caps in scoring
I did see Kampf couple times on the ice, dude has some wheels. Apparently Lappy is out of the doghouse and now a reliable player?
Total TOI: Miro 6:21, Kampf 8:29, Lappy, Duhaime, Leno all just under 12 minutes. Hutson at 10:58 TOI? what happened?
Caps 2/3 on the PP, and 100% on the PK certainly helped.

Coach benched Hutson for making a few mistakes lately.. No clue (as usual) why Leno didn't lead the forwards in ice time. He'll be a 30 goal scorer as soon as he's put on a line with skills guys instead of hustle guys. But coach is in love with McMike and Beauvi I guess, as they always get the promotion when wingers move up a line. Even Lappi got bumped up, ahead of the only budding forward superstar on the team. I did see Kamph win a faceoff, so that alone should get him a full time starting role.
