I haven’t seen any comments from the coach yet today. I would guess with the back to back, and especially since they won last night, tonight’s lines are same as last night’s. Lindy in net.
unless of course there is another surprise injury
-
I would expect Lindy in net for sure. I figured last night's lines were setup specific to Oils (and Dowd was out), but it worked well so I'd guess the same, and they only have so much to work with. Although I would move out TVR and bring in Mac or Chisholm. I wouldn't mind seeing Miro or someone get a sweater and sit Lappy - if he's playing wing anyway. That does have waiver consequences tho.
-
Caps don’t have the roster space to call anyone up unless someone gets sent down or Dowd goes on IR. I’m pretty sure they can’t send anyone down without waivers.
Coach said there might be some changes on the back end, whatever that means.

TvR out, McIlrath in

1 to 1 after one
Each team has a PPG. Caps had 4 penalties, Habs had 5, a couple offseting. Caps will start the 2nd with a full PP. Officially, Caps are 1 fer 2, Habs are 1 fer 3.
-
I guess that puck crossed. Wouldn't exactly call it "definitive" though. NHL still the only sport on the planet that loves to overturn on ice official calls w/o sufficient evidence. lol "What do think Bob? Eh, it was probably in. OK then, GOOD GOAL!" :raspberry:

OV gets a hatty, Frank and Milano two goals each, Frank with 4 points
-
How boring. :snicker:
For about the 10th time, Old man Ovi has a slow start or slump then makes a bunch of us look stupid when he gets hot. :uh-huh:
He's not got super powers but he is the Great Fucking 8!! :)
-
The Caps PP was %50 tonight, 2 fer 4
8-0
-
OV with 4 points tonight. That moved him past Joe Sakic for 10th all time in points. OV- 1643 career points.
That kid in Pittsburgh with the soft melon has 1708 points, 9th all time.
-
Sid better stay healthy! :snicker:
-
I dreamed the Caps scored 8 goals last night - put a dead snowman on the board :)
Wow, can we play only teams/goalies have bad nights from here on out? Hey give them credit, the Caps been moving the puck better, but damn...8 goals on 36 shots
-
Fever having a shitty game. Doesn't look like himself lately.
I agree. He usually get's the tough assignments, but he has been a bit off, almost said something to Beags, since he's the Callout Guru.
-
Frank 2G 2A in 8:51 TOI
Milano 2G in 6:39 TOI (lowest TOI on the team)
pretty efficient use of there time last night.
-
All the penalties didn’t help with some guys ice time, though a couple were offseting keeping play at 5v5
