ESPN guys don't even hide it. "Everyone take a breath" (right after the Hens killed our last pp) lol
I was gonna be happy with a point, but when your special teams has a night that bad it's too much to ask. Catch up Saturday..
Carbs has tried everything on the PP1 except the main personnel. Carlson definitely needs to be replaced and Ovi probably should too. They'd make a decent PP2 along with whoever is left after you put out Strome-Wilson-Chychrun-Protus-Leonard on PP1

So.. i was gonna say BEFORE the game....why didn't they swap Thompson and Lindy ...saving Thompson for this game. He would have made a difference.
Of course if they'd lost to the blues....then 5 game losing streak would have been really ugly.
First two penalties were horse shit calls. The second one was a total fantasy. I almost stopped watching right there. I was watching with 2 of my sons and they are barely fans and certainly not a fanatic like me and they agreed that was total fantasy.
However - allowing Fucking Cindy to score a minute in is a total dagger. FFS where is your rebound control?...or maybe try catching the fucking puck shot at you. We were lucky it wasn't 5-0 end of 1st.
Nice to the boys bounce back and actually try and win. The Leonard offsides again is the league just fucking the Caps. I thought yeah maybe it was but they never showed clear evidence it was offsides yet in less than a minute they make the call to OVERTURN the call on the ice. I know I am biased, but I am not blind. The clown announcers kept saying "oh the coaches never take a chance unless they are 90% sure, and maybe that plays out if you are the Hens, but FFS the bias toward the Pens is sickening.
Ray Ferraro is an ass - so tired of his commentary....saying with 5 minutes gone in the 2nd, that the Caps just want to get one before the end of the period. Really? with 14:30 to play in the 2nd, down by 3 and you think they just want ONE? Loved when we pulled even and shut them the fuck up for a bit.
It sickens me this is what we expect and what we usually get with a Hens game - biased announcers, biased refs, shit play from the Caps, and we look like dogshit to the rest of the hockey world.
All that being said...if we were better on special teams, we would have won. FFS you cant allow 3 PPG and win. And WTF is with every player we ever trade - waking up only to score on us (Mantha)?
