There’s only one NHL game today.
It’s the back half of a back to back for both teams. As it should be if the league is going to schedule these things. I see no reports of a morning skate. Don’t know what the lines might be. Coach mentioned possibly tweaking them last night post game.
-
Lappy out, Milano in. TvR out, Chisholm in.

Fuck me.. Monumental+ only covers 150 miles around the DMV. >:( These greedy assholes. I hope streams are solid, cause I won't buy another fucking streaming platform at all if I can help it! F em all!!
-
Caps media didn’t post Skate Shavings until 5:40 this evening. I am seriously unimpressed with the front office.

I’d call and bitch them up and down. At a minimum I’d get a refund. It is exceedingly difficult to maintain, much less grow the fan base if the fans can’t watch the game.

Caps up 1-0 after two

I found out before I paid for Monumental. Streaming is a complete hassle these days. I need to do some research and see where the streams are now that they shut down StreamEast and I think Sportsurge. Anyway, the game is on NHLnetwork. And of course they're using MSG announcers.
Im glad we got a goal, cause we're getting heavily outplayed. Losing 90% of board battles. Chucky keeping us in this one.

Faceoff wins are less than 30% after two
-
PP time

O fer 8
OV back to double shifting the pp, and Protas out on pp 2

Tuesday at home vs the Lightning

Played better in the 3rd than the other 2.. Chucky was the difference! PP needs oxygen. Carlson is just too old to be relied on, imo. Dude fumbled the puck at least a half dozen times tonight. I just don't see how he's our best option on the PP. (And every other situation, apparently)
-
Dubois left the game with 6:44 remaining, Milano had one shift in the 3rd

I heard em' say he went down the tunnel. Any clue what it was? We can't be losing centers.
-
Never heard why, and I had the post game on for awhile. I guess we will find out Monday or Tuesday.
