Almost Mixing, err Puck drop time!
Looks like us foreigners are stuck with ESPN.
-
Chychrun and Carlson out, maintenance, or rest, or something
that’s two games in a row for Carlson
-
I'm ready for the Leonard experiment to end - although they probably promised him he would play in all these games to get him to sign. I like him as a prospect, but he is a prospect, not a sure thing.
We need to ramp it up these last few games and quit screwing around. Carbs will win Coach of the Year, but if we get blown out in the first round, an excellent year will turn into a big disappointment pretty quickly.
-
Well.. have the Caps feed, but it's Walton again. Starting to worry about JoeB.
So Beags, who ya putting in for Leonard? He looks as good as Frank, Bovi or Mangi to me. Not sure he's a problem.
Be cool to get some decent goaltending heading into the post season.

PP GOOOAAALLLL
STROME

Good guys draw first blood! 😀🤑🤩
-
PK time
after not calling interference against the Islanders
-
nother PP . .
-
PP2 didn’t come out until it was almost over. PP2 had Eller, Alexeyev and Roy out. Makes me think it was for their shift after the PP.
-
Caps up 1-0 after one
-
Scoring goals is quite the struggle for our group these days. Glad we got a lucky deflection.
-
Apparently I missed something. Why do they only have 5 D men right now?
-
Eliminated Isles making us look pedestrian.
-
GOOOAAALLLL
STROME
-
new career high.. 28 goals for Strome this season
-
nother PP . . .
-
Glad MF42 is back on the ice.

And Columbus made us look like an AHL team …… that would lose to Hershey.
And if the Jackets keep their lead over Philly win tonight, they have to hope Carolina beats Montreal tomorrow and then if they beat NYI on Thursday, they get to play us.
-
Caps up 2-0 after two
-
nother PK . . . .
-
:poop:
:clown: :O=

NHL is still trying to figure out official scoring in the 3rd
-
2 goal scorers in last 3 games. lol Good for Strome though.

Tampa won the battle of Florida tonight 5-1

Seen couple posts guys down on Lenny in couple different threads. I'm not all googly-eyed over him but he seems like he's held his own, driven some O play, and hits guys, etc. He is at least noticeable in the games. I have been impressed by him considering his obvious youth - I didn't expect him to be NHL ready, but I'm okay with him.
Beavy has looked pretty good...he's pretty scrappy, but I don't think he has even a point in the last 5? games he's played with us.
Sundin looked good on the PP moving the puck and is def more mobile than Carlson...and even puts shots ON net...instead of 3' wide of it.

Yeah Florida has been like the Caps of late (except for the part where they are the reigning champs)
-
Beauvillier has now played 17 games as a Cap, he has 2 goals and 3 assists. His first handful of games were on line 4, he has slowly moved up to line 1. Though some of that promotion is probably due to Protas being out.

Mick - I would probably go with Frank but ideally would like a guy with size and good forechecking. I'm not down on Leonard, he is just too raw at this point and I think he would get crushed in the playoffs.

whoops my post was supposed to say "in LAST 5 games" (which is the stats i looked up)... But I thought he has looked like he was hustling and hitting and so on. Not expecting him to put up big numbers - he seems a good 2-way player., but damn we need SOMEONE to put up some numbers
And I agree with someone else who said...NEED Radysh to be more physical.
