Its 58 degrees and raining in Anaheim today. So much for that nice SoCal weather. Its 71 degrees and bright sunshine in DC.
and....who makes the schedule?...Ducks and Kings arenas are less than 30 miles apart so we play the Ducks tonight, then fly 750+ miles north to play San Jose, then fly 750+ miles back to play the Kings. Why not just stay in LA region for 2 games then fly out? I realize both arenas have other schedules and what not, but that's just dumb.
Hope the Caps brought 3 cans of Whoop-Ass with them on this trip

Thursday's game figures to be a much different game - the Kings are a much more disciplined and hard-nosed team. AND they happen to have the best home record in the NHL. So it was good to get this win under our belt. Let's see what the Caps can do Thursday, but don't be surprised at a loss. Feels like, whoever scores 3 goals wins.
-
Actually surprised I stayed awake for the whole game...It was very entertaining...but man we are suspect on D. The Ducks are the third lowest scoring team in the league and we gave them 4! I know sometimes the bounces just go your way, but we get trapped in our zone way too much.
I doubt playoff hockey will be 7-4 type games.
And yes Kings will be different. They are a much better team, and They are 3rd stingiest team in the league in GA and have only lost 3 in regulation at home all year. (so....they DUE for a home loss)
How can their GA be so low when they have Kuemper guarding the twine?
