Out playing them, nothing wants to go, seeing eye backhander. Penalties.. Smells funky. :-\

Yup, smells off tonight. I don't care how good he skates backwards, both his goals were lucky. :-(

Caps down 2-0 after two
some good looks but no bounces

Lots of SOG's, no goals. I prefer the other way, personally. :raspberry:
-
One of them games.. Unfortunately, and for whatever reason, Chuck is the one who racks up the losses. He's playing fine but no support.

I did see the Superman save, but I was barely awake, didn’t feel like posting about it last night.
-
Missed the game but saw the save on SportsCenter. It was the number 1 play in the Top 10 plays. Looked incredible!
-
I quit after 2. had an early day and i had no hope so...
WHY did they start Lindy 2 games in a row? Didn't make sense to me. Maybe Thompson had the shits or something minor?
-
Thompson is from Calgary, gotta let him start in front of family

As said earlier, prolly 'cos he got a shutout the game before.
He actually played pretty well.

well yeah, but Thompson played better the 3 games before that so...there's little argument for Lindy to start 2 in a row based on any "how they last played" criteria
-
I think it's more a precedent. Had anyone started 2 in a row before LT's shutouts? (Chuck was healthy and back when LT got his last start, iirc) So, shutout = start next game. Plus goaltending was the least of our worries the other night. Chuck did fine. They got 2 seeing eye shots to go in and we could only muster 1, while outplaying them pretty handily.

^^^ coach said this in the pregame.. along with “other factors”
