I didn't realize their was a game tonight. What's with the back to back games? This old team can't hang as it is, but back to backs are rough.
-
Shouldn't we be rooting for good, competive games and hope we lose every one so that we get more balls in the draft lottery? I think we finish 12th from last and get lucky and get the top pick!
-
Milano still sick, Ovi another GTD. :-|
-
John Walton will be back on the radio tonight for the first time since losing his brother on feb 25, but there was another reason for the extended break..

I just looked at the score. 2 Buffalo goals on three shots? Ooh-Fah. Lindgren needs to shave that lucky moustache.

Thought we might be ok. Heated em up a little, then... 3-1 after 1, as per normal I guess. :-(

Morning
you.s all on smmertie already
It's 10 past midnight here.
-
Been on smmertie since Sunday! :raspberry:
-
Oshie down the tunnel. Told the ref "I can't go" before the faceoff?
-
Middle of the 1st Aubé-Kubel went to the locker room for what looked like an equipment issue. Oshie just went down the tunnel and it did not look like an equipment issue.
-
Did he take a head hit or something? Maybe a mandatory CP trip? He didn't look like he was ailing to me?
-
4 minutes to go in the 2nd. Couple shots, but goalie hasn't even broke a sweat. Nothing scary at all.. :-\
-
Which colour are we ?
-
Sandin down, holding his knee.. More joy. :-(
-
damn, just what this team needs is more injuries
-
Which colour should I cheer for?
Go the Blues

GOOOAAALLLL
OVECHKIN
-
OK, that's close enough. Now hang on, give up an EN goal in the waning moments, and lose 5-3. Good enough.
-
Ovi!! That's all that matters. Keep us healthy and Ovi goals is all I need at this point.
-
what a pathetically bad call

-
what colour are we again/ :snicker:
:smirk:
-
Bah - now we get at least a loser point.
I have to give this team, and this organization, some credit. They may not be all that great now, but for the most part they don't quit, and despite all the losses and the injuries they've sort of hung in there all year. Which is the classic recipe for mediocrity. Not good enough to challenge for the Cup, but not bad enough to get toward the top of the draft board.
-
oh joy
-
wow, not bad this time
-
Couple of filthy shootout goals. Probably points we don't need but still nice to get the W.
-
Now the Caps gotta root for the Ducks tonight
-
Looking at the replay of the Wilson goal, it sure looked like a savvy play by Backstrom. When the goalie stuck out his stick as Backstrom skated in front of the net and put it under his arm, it looked like Backstrom clamped his arm down and carried the goalie stick toward the corner, where neither the goalie nor anyone else could retrieve it.
-
we won?
-
we won?
Unfortunately. :raspberry: :snicker:
-
We won and Ovi scored
All good in my world.
-
Sorry hun. Maybe some sad, pathetically bad hockey will cheer you up!
You cheered me up more. :hearts:
-
OK, that's close enough. Now hang on, give up an EN goal in the waning moments, and lose 5-3. Good enough.

Hey, a little more good news I bet you didn't know.. (Least I didn't) Jensen went down the tunnel in the 3rd and didn't come back. :-(

Thanks.

Fine line honey...... fine line.......
-
Fun to see some energy and physicality. Ice was crummy all night and although I love him, Sheary may have had his worst game as a Cap.
It's also a treat to see Kuzy when he really wants to play. That guy could be a 50 goal scorer if he wanted it bad enough.
I think Sandin is another Jensen - small, great skater, good passer - although he had a tough game defensively.
4th line was dominant. They need to play Protus every game and sit Mantha!
-
Im shocked how physical Sandin plays for his size. Definitely doesn't shy away from it anyway. Mantha could learn from him or Sheary about tenacity. Either way, Mantha should be scoring 20+ goals. Dude needs a psychiatrist or something.
