Evening all.
Dont think I'll make tonights game. I have to be somewhere tomorrow. Soooo I thought I'd give you the benefit of my wisdom beforehand. :snicker:
Watch out, Rooney is a ref tonight and he hates us. O-O
On another note, I'm really happy that 96, A - K (pretentious bastard ), has been consistently riding the pine since he came off his suspension. I never want to see him in a Caps jersey again.
Running commentary please, as much as you can. :hearts:
-
What's pretentious about a check to the face? :snicker:
Alta will lead the charge, I'll be in there at some point and Mick....well, he will show up between naps. Them older fellas need their rest and he FFS could use the beauty rest :raspberry:
-
Hey, Im wide awake! :smirk:
-
GOOOAAALLLL
FEVER
-
Marty!!
-
big clean hit along the boards by Oshie, the Kracks didn’t like it, Oshie vs Gourde get 5 for fighting
-
Keep yer head up rookie! Not sure I needed to see Oshie answering the bell, but there it was. lol Ol' boy looks pretty spry tonight!
-
GOOOAAALLLL
SHEARY PPG
-
Pretty PP there.. Tick tack toe Sheary!
-
the krack coach shouldn’t have started Gruby
-
Caps 2 goals on 4 shots. Krack were blocking shots like crazy for a bit there. Nice to see a couple find twine.
-
I’m still a few behind. Looking good so far. Not sure why Oshie jumped into that fight
Seattle is pretty quick and they Did score 9 couple nights ago so maybe their arms will be tired 8)

-
He aint behind on Micks.. I just caught up during intermission myself. :P
-
Nice PK and back to the PP..
-
Minutes and drinks. Caught up on minutes now. Still working on the drink part
I love the way Sheary plays. Always hussle
-
PP moving the puck well. I wonder if partly due to Seattle moving pretty quick and aggressive attacking rather than sitting back
-
Yea, another nice PP. Gruby kept it out of the net for em'.
-
:poop:
:clown: :O=
-
Poop
-
We start getting out played the 2nd half of the periods. Shocker. lol
-
I’m fading fast. Been a long week already
(Kind of like the Caps defense)
-
I think it's safe to say, 2 aint gonna be enough..
-
Wasn’t that an elbow to the face
-
Fucking Gruby has settled down.. :-\
-
This game could be 6-2 either way
-
Escaping this period still leading feels like a win
-
Caps still have the lead after two
-
I feel like Im paranoid about our lead. :snicker:
-
This is our fight time!! 15 minutes before the 3rd starts! 11:45pm.. FIGHT FELLAS!!!!! FIGHT!!! We can make it!!!

 Fake news!! :raspberry:
That god damn commercial gets me at least once a game.. Not paying attention during intermission and hear JoeB yell scoorrrrrr.. :raised-eyebrow:
-
Mick. Look out! Cops are coming :raspberry:
They don't give a shit anymore. Least that's what I was told.
-
Dammit Gruby, cut that shit out!! :raised-eyebrow:
-
Climate Pledge Arena ::)
-
If…I mean When they force feed the puck to Ovi , Carlson needs to get it their quicker
-
I get the feeling I should go to bed and avoid the outcome
And it sure feels like both teams have had more than 14 shots
-
We playin in the wrong end of the ice too much.. :-(
-
We like a clown show trying to clear our zone
-
Pretty sure if you try to hold your breath for 9+ minutes you die, right? Boys need to find some legs here..
-
Im almost positive we won't be able to get one through Gruby's gut or chest.
-
Who put a fucking mask on the site logo Caps Eagle? I just noticed it.
-
:poop: :poop:
:clown: :O=
-
:clown: :poop: They made it about 7 minutes.. :-(
-
FFS. Could feel it coming
-
Who put a fucking mask on the site logo Caps Eagle? I just noticed it.
it comes and goes, been like that for two years
-
Caps just can’t clear their own zone
-
Caps looked like they were playing for a tie even though they were ahead
-
Well 3 on 3 should look fair :-X
-
Put Strome, Sheary, Milano out there
-
oh joy, OT
-
I got money on the Bear
-
Survived for a point anyway.. See if we have any oxygen at all left.
-
Nope.
-
phuuuuukkking joke
-
Haha….way to drag it out.
Fucking Carlson
-
Oh well, wasted our secondary scoring tonight. See you guys Saturday..
-
At least Carlson managed to fall down and drag Eller down with him
-
Night peeps
-
OT is a speed game, something Carlson is not familiar with
-
Picking up another point in an away game. That's not so bad.
-
What's pretentious about a check to the face? :snicker:
I was referring to pretentious double-barrell names. A pet peeve of mine. :raspberry:
-
Re-watched some of this game and I think an outcome of 1 point from this game might have been generous. We were outplayed a lot. Seattle missed some open nets a few times. We had chance too, but we were lucky to escape with a point I think.
I don't know if Carlson is just focusing too much on scoring, but his D is even more atrocious than it has been in the past.
Not that all the stats mean a whole lot, but Johhny Q. Dylan Norris Carlson was the only player on the ice for either team that was a -2. I watched about 10 uneven man rushes for Seattle and guess WHO was out of position or well behind the play...or flat out led to the rush the other way.
Not to focus on him or put all the blame on him, but he's not helping this team win.
It was a bad/odd bounce in OT, but Carlson was pretty much just out-muscled and pushed over by none other than Bearkowski. I don't recall Bura being all that physical. He's have a great year though.
-
Carlson’s biggest problem is he can’t handle a good forecheck, or a bad one. Damn near every single time he gets one on one pressure, he loses the puck, especially when attempting to play offense. $8,000,000 a year for this.
-
I've said before, the only time Carlson is any good on D is when he's pissed off. And that usually lasts about 1-2 shifts, when it happens at all. They should cut his pay in half and make him a forward.
We also have probably the most expensive yet totally invisible 3rd line in the NHL.
First sign of Willy coming back they really should try and find a team who thinks Mantha could help them for a playoff run. Get an early jump on clearing some cap space.
