Other than speed, he must not show much other than AHL talent? He's 26. If they had any thoughts of him being an NHL'r he'd of been called up by now, imo.

Hershey has the best record in the AHL by a significant amount. They also have the best goal differential in the league, and as a result, virtually all the players on the roster have a healthy +/- rating (which I realize has flaws as a predictor of quality of play). Iorio leads the team in +/- with a +26, one of the highest ratings in the AHL.
Ethan Frank has played 90% of Hershey's games, and I'd have to believe he is playing on an upper line, with his scoring prowess. BUT, half his goals are on the power play, and his +/- rating, which reflects 5 on 5 play only, is 0. I wonder if these indicators suggest that he is not especially responsible defensively. I suspect the first priority for AHL call-ups is, try to do no harm.
