It’s appeared today in russian press and became very debatable, however it happened one ago after winning Stanley Cup and someone decided to post this private video online today...
In Conclusion, Kuznetsov has said that he is nothing to hide and ready to do any test of his body, at the same time Caps will do it’s own internal investigation of this case regarding Kuznetsov

Maybe. but I’d fine with him doin an occasional 8ball and a suspension or two if it meant him being a 200ft player, playing the PK, and winning 50% face-offs.
Bottom line is he can’t afford to do be in this situation

I’ll take the liberty to call this fiasco “Kuzy Karma”
I mostly believe Kuzy’s story! He just doesn’t seem to fit the scenario to me.
The bigger story, however, IMHO, is the fact, and the WHY, this story was put out there in the first place!!
INTENTIONALLY, by someone, in order to cause some level of shame, or embarrassment, PERSONALLY to Kuzy!
This is where the “Kuzy Karma” enters the picture:
I believe Kuzy, with his repeated negative comments, about preferring to play road games, over playing here at home, saying that he doesn’t like how the Washington fans can switch so quickly between loving you one day, and mad at you the next. (Paraphrasing him from post game interviews, during 2017, and 2018 seasons), has caught up to him, negatively!
THEN, more recently, at 2019 playoff exit interview, admitting to his regular season, effort/motivation, issue, where he speaks so matter-of-factly, and unapologetically, about it!
I believe he’s made a few too many fans, quite angry and disappointed, with his attitude towards his low performance, and this has now fallen on the ears of someone, who was possibly a low level insider with the Caps, in some way, who may have otherwise kept the matter private, had Kuzy not created this quagmire of a negative media issue!
Somebody wanted to serve a big dish of humble pie, to Kuzy!
And boy, how our “disgruntled” little superstar got served!
I will add, that I’m not jumping for joy over this thing, (I take no pleasure in someone getting ruined), but I do acknowledge the repercussive energy that came with Kuzys past comments about being in Washington! This will blow over, and go away, most likely!
To be fair, I don’t think Kuzy understands the complexity of smart media management!
He comes off to me as quite naive, and also quite spoiled, just like any other cocky youngin’ you see, with a lot of talent, and cash, but with a major deficit in the wisdom department!! LOL!

To beat your issue, can be a long road! THE WAY OUT, IS THE WAY IN!!
You’re right also, Mick, about the 3 day clear, for a simple urine test! Actually, (and trust me on this one), you can piss clean after 36-48 hrs, if you drink a quart or two of water, an hour or so before the test. The urine is then diluted enough to fall below the threshold of the test, for cocaine metabolites.
But beware. If the test is conducted by law enforcement agencies, or the judicial system, they also rate the urines color.
Drinking that much water in advance, causes the urine to come out CLEAR, in color, and won’t fall within the yellowish color scale that the specimen is graded by, and you will FAIL the test that way, instead!! They’ve wised up to many of the tricks!
You WONT pass a hair follicle test, if you’ve used within the last few months, to be sure! I’ve known folks, back in the day, who’ve shaved their heads in order to avoid the test. They’ll just use pubic hair, at that point, so you can’t beat ‘em! LOL
Let me add quickly, that I don’t mean to glorify the lifestyle! On the contrary, shooting up coke, ruined my life, and at that time back in the late 90’s, I actually envied those rare few folks who could buy a 1/2 gram, and make it last for more than a frickin’ WEEK!!! I wasn’t one of them!

Ok, so back to Kuzy. Ya know, this would help explain a lot. Especially in the mental area!
It helps make sense, if he was doing coke for quite awhile, as to part of the reason for his lack of motivation during the season. Also the wide parameters of his moods, caught in some of his random interviews!
Looking back on it now, one day, he would be happy, and sort of kid-like, about playing, then another day, we’d see Kuzy being quite irritated and ranting about not liking to play on home ice, and such! Not to mention his underperforming season, in total!
I mean...WOW! To me it sharpens the focus greatly, on an otherwise fairly mysterious issue about who Kuzy is, as a person, and a player!!
I wish him well, and actually feel like Zero, a bit, in that if he performs well, then I’m not so concerned with his personal life!....
What Kuzy doesn’t seem to understand, at least right now, is that he’s not in that category yet, of those few, and rare, pro athletes, who can play at their highly gifted level, while simultaneously managing a coke habit!!

it should be pointed out that the IIHF is far stricter on drug use than the professional leagues are. They are basically the same as Olympic rules, which the vast majority of us would fail with OTC allergy/cold meds.

I would suggest that he needs a whole new bunch of friends, 'cos those ones ain't doing him any favours. Those people, in my book, could never be classed as "friends". They most certainly don't have his best interests at heart.
I really like Kuzy. He comes across as funny, charmming and obviously very talented. I hope this little blip on his landscape is just that. A "blip" and that he can overcome whatever brain fart he had which drove him into this situation. :sick:
