I'm calling it . . . 5-3 Caps!
Come out HARD, FAST, PHYSICAL, and stay OUT of the box.
Bjorkstrand is injured, so that helps! With ten of their best injured this should be easy. :snicker:
:gocaps:
As you see, my typing hasnt improved. At All. :snicker:I was wondering . . At least you recognize it.

How did we not score there. 8-0Scary that we missed so many opportunities thus far. I do not agree with Joe B. and Locker that their goalie is playing awesome and stifling the Caps. Caps not sharp.
"Folino was looking for anyone, after that Wilson hit.." Yea, anyone BUT Wilson.. :raspberry:That was a pathetic showing by Slieg-whatever. He needs to man up and be better.
Yea, we've had a couple guys "try" to fight this year. Hasn't really worked out too well.. Sig and Gudas should both take lessons before theire next attempt. Hathaway may of stood his ground in his only attempt (that I recall) Still seems like Wilson is about the only one who's able.

This teams an upgrade to previous years, but still ain’t good enough.
Surprised the refs didn't call Wilson for embellishment there...they seem to find every reason to put him in the box
Gerbe's center of gravity must be around his ankles. :snicker:
Well that was way too hard.. Glad they came up for Sammy! Kid is playing his ass off!! Couldn't get em' in regulation, but will definitely take the 2 in OT.Yes, Samsonov looked very confident, like he is playing at NHL for sometime.
I’ve been told they have the same rule at The Hustler Club . . .
NHL should take a page out of Six Flags' book and start instituting a "must be *this* tall to play" rule.
I’ve been told they have the same rule at The Hustler Club . . . And what might that be??
My concern is the Jackets have exposed an old weakness of the Caps, which is losing control when they get pressed hard with in-your-face play. This was a severely injured midlands team that we beat because we have so much firepower, but a better team can learn from the Jackets and give us a real problem in the playoffs. The only fix I see for this is playing a super physical game and forcing guys to steer clear. I was really hoping we would do that today from the start, but I'm glad they started playing hard in the last couple minutes of the 2nd. That's the reason we won.

It’s no secret how to beat us, just look at the playoff wins and losses. Anaheim, Boston and CBJ have all rattled us and beaten us this year by doin the same thing.
