yep Lynxh loves Rammstein.  This scene in Liost Highway was the first time myself and many others in the US and outside Germany heard them.  Lynch has given many bands and artists starts or revivals including  David Bowie, Trent Renzor, Chris Isaac. Julia Cruise, Rammstein and tons of others

Lady and I have started Altered Carbon on Netflix  ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? :P ;D

One episode it and holy jebuss this show rules!!!  (so they took/used the same concept as Demolition Man but you forget that quick) . . . Great and violent fight/gunfight sequences, what looks to be a deceitful plot, . . .

And they came up with the idea of drugs in the future being installed computer programs  ;D  , (which is basically what they are anyway considering the human brain is an organic computer)

But, check this one out!  I can't wait to finish it

We starting watching that show too. Just one episode so far but I think it is going to be very cool.
Another Netflix show you might be interested in is Dark. That is if you are OK with subtitles. The show is in German.

this is a 13 part series on Amazon Prime, I enjoyed it...

it gave me something to watch while waiting for season 2 of Grand Tour, also this...

episode 8 was especially enjoyable as my first car was a '72 Cutlass S, fastback with the 350/350 and air con, the car had some mind work, it would easily bury the 120mph speedo

I was watching some Trailer Parks Boys last night and the episode closer to the heart was one of the episodes I watched. First thing I thought of was our buddy Rush sine the episode was named after one of their songs and the band was in the episode. Alex Leifson played himself in the episode and was pretty good in it.
Anyway my point is I haven't heard from Rush in some time. I miss the guy.

Meh, I'm not that interested. I highly doubt they redid the rape scene from the original, and not too many of these remakes interest me. Most of the time the original was far better.

This is not an endorsement of rape as some want it to be, it's an observation that some things that hollywood used to put on film will never happen again much like the movie Blazing Saddles, and I'm still mad at Mel Brooks for not making a History Of The World Part 2

when I was younger my friends and I went to the movies weekly in the wintertime. Not because it was too cold out, but because that's the only time you can wear a coat that holds 8 bottles of beer without being obvious. Until someone knocks over an empty, and it rolls, all the way to the front row... from the back row

I dont have a lot of interest in this movie either. I agree that the original is usually better with the exception of John Carpenters The Thing.

Normally I agree on remakes, but like Blazing Saddels, Death Wish falls into the “movies that would never be made today” catagory. .

A white middle aged male going on a vendetta mider spree with guns?   As that video pointed out, it’s a libtards nightmare/porotest wetdream!

I’ll go see it just for it to make enough money so they keep make MG more

In one season it’s already one of my all time favorites.

It’s got the fingerprints of Lynch, Lucas, Coppola, Spielberg, and Kubrick alllll over it!

This is another show on my watchlist. I have too many shows on the go. I'm falling behind on some. Fell behind on Ray Donaovan, The Exspanse, Alter Carbon, The Bridge ( Danish version) and Walking Dead . Good thing Game of Thrones and Westworld took a year off or I'd be being on those too.

Know the feeling, but I strongly recommend benching them all in favor of Legion.  (Walking Dead is a short seasons, and Im not sure if I even finished the last season of Ray yet). . .

But cut out a few 2-4 hour min binge time and start this up. is better than of them!
Think THX1138, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, with a blend of Dune and Inland Empire. . . and then gets crazy

that movie was so good I have zero recollection of it, and I’ve seen
just about every thing Mr Duval did. Even met the man when I lived
out by Rush, he lives out that way and gives history lectures every
now and then to rais money for preservation thereof. He drives himself
around in a pickup truck, couldn’t meet a nicer person, famos or no.
Personally I think hie bestmovie was Second Hand Lions,
with Michael Wathshisface, one of his best movies too.

We have them all downloaded but havent watched them yet. I like this series. I like what they did with it. They changed it up from the 1973 movie which I was a fan of. Yul Brynner was the man in black in the movie. A rogue robot Cowboy at a theme park. He was the Terminator before the Terminator was even thought of. Speaking of the Terminator, another one of my alltime favs

I saw a trailer for the Tremors TV series yesterday. Not sure if it will be any good but I have to be honest I liked the original Tremors movie quite a bit. The sequels weren't very good though. I guess the 2nd Tremors was alright but the others downright sucked.

At the last season I have watched every episode as soon as they were available. For the second season I watched only the first episode. Probably when the season will be over I'll watch it, but I have no eagerness.

In honor of all our Russian players I have been trying to watch some Russian made movies. Ive seen a handful so far. Watched an interesting Russian sci fi movie earlier this week called Mafia: The Game of Survival. I really enjoy international movies. They aren't bso Hollywood. I'm even getting used to subtitles.

so far the new Dr Who sucks ass, and I don't think it's Jodi. I think Matts first episode was the only time I liked the new Dr right away, but it never took three episodes before. The problem is the writing has gotten far to politically correct now, to the point that I have no desire to see the next episode. Damn shame too

I'm too much of a movie junkie. Especially sci fi. I'm watching my 3rd movie already today. Ive watched a lot of cheesy movies.
Right now I'm watching a Canadian sci fi tv movie called Survival Code (Borealis) from 2013. I think it was a pilot for a tv show that never got picked up. Too bad, looks like it could have been a decent series.

yep, the '04-06 GT looked really good too, a very good looking modern example of the original. The brand new GT is just ugly in my opinion. It looks like something the Italians made, and not in a good way. At this point, the Superformance reproduction is the cheapest option, and still the best looking. They can be had with all the modern conveniences. There are a couple '05 GTs around that were factory painted in the Gulf Oil livery, if I were to win the lottery I'd find one of those. The '05 GTs are selling for $500,000.

I'd also find me a blue Ferrari 458 though, as that is the best looking model they ever made, not an opinion, just fact :snicker: .

'06 GT, 5000 miles, Gulf Oil livery, only $440,000....

'14 458, 9000 miles, blue, and a bargain at $200,000

Yeah, to say 04-06 GTs have maintained value is a bit of an understatement 🤣. Hell they didn’t even break 600hp!

I know what you mean about the new ones, I’m still pissed that it’s not an 8 (or 12).

But I know why the did that (euro/euro race regulations, new marketing etc), and it’s kicking ass in international racing, so it’s a good bragging point at least🤣

Jay gives a great walk through on his (love the Os/Sinatra color scheme)

I watched this last night on Amazon prime, it tells the story very well with a lot of interviews of the men who were there...

1965 is also the last time Ferrari won a 1st overall, and very unlikely to happen again unless they start building LMP/DP cars

And another thing that pisses me off. . .
Someone I know called The Duke “a racist twat”, had we’d been face to face, I’d of slugged him!

This is the result of CNNs hit piece cherry-picking an a Playboy (Playboy) article in 1971 before even my old ass was born

https://youtu.be/-ftJ9Q6vsLU (https://youtu.be/-ftJ9Q6vsLU)

His sone Ethan, (named after Dukes character in The Searchers, one of the greatest films ever), had a rather “tempered” response to this Commie hit-piece, where all their bullshit is proved to be that
“ Hiltzik (who did not do the interview), rebuffed the notion that John Wayne was just a man of his time or that it was unfair to judge something said so long ago. Hiltzik pointed out that at the time of the interview in 1971, the civil rights movement was decades old and Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated three years prior.
Wayne wasn’t expressing the tenor of the times — he was reacting to the advances being won by African Americans throug demonstrations and legislation, who hadn’t yet been ‘woke’; he had seen the future, and it put him into a racist rage.” (https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.sacbee.com/news/california/article227087484.html)
The columnist concluded by writing, “There surely are residents or natives of Orange County more deserving of having their name on the airport.” (https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.sacbee.com/news/california/article227087484.html)
Ethan Wayne accused critics of disregarding his father’s achievements and “trying to contradict how he lived his life.” (https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.sacbee.com/news/california/article227087484.html)
“They put my father’s name on that airport for the same reason that Congress voted to give him a Congressional gold medal, for the same reason the president decided to give him a Medal of Freedom. And it’s recognition of a lifetime of significant contributions to his country, his community and to his industry.” (https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.sacbee.com/news/california/article227087484.html)

Watching the "original" UK Office.  I can honestly say the only thing that was better than the USA version was they didnt have NBC censors.  But I wouldn't be surprised if both series where banned in the Comm. . .er United Kingdom now.

Either way, Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight, Creed, Stanley, & Packard RULE

Lets face the UK version could of just been called The Ricky Gervais Show.  He is flat out AWESOME in it, but the rest are quite forgettable.  Except his "neice" who is HAWT!!!!  Like few and far,far between Brit hot, like coulda given Princess Died a run for her money hot!!!

Oh the US  reunion episode is coming soon!!!
