With Aubé-Kubel back, McMike gets scratched again. They need to send him to Hershey so he can actually play before they ruin him.

Coach just throwing :poop: at the wall to see if anything sticks, for lines. lol

that is the general consensus, makes one wonder if this team has a different coach by April Christmas

Decent 18 minutes with nothing to show for it but stats.. 3x to the box is a losing hand every time vs these guys.
-
it’s pp time

God the wasted money on this team. Everyone we play has a better center then us. We pay Kuzy 8 mil to do nothing, unless it's during a SO. Dude gets the puck taken from him like a bully taking lunch money. Sad.

Caps are being out played, badly
:poop: :poop:

the pp looks like :clown: :poop:
-
PP looks so bad. They're not good at anything. Even setting it up looks out of whack. Then they just random pass it a time or two and take a shot from the blue line. lol
-
PP is 1 for 26 over the last 5 games.
-
Beauty of a game! They aren't even mad! 4-zip and not even a scrum!! lol
I don't think a coaching change with do much of anything, but at this point you can't just do nothing.
Oh well, see ya Wednesday!

Every team has a game or three like this during the season. I’m not concerned, yet. But there didn’t seem to be a lot of effort tonight. I can’t tell if this squad has lost faith in the coach or not. Maybe they can bounce back Wednesday, at 7:30.

All they did was chase the Avs around the ice all night as they controlled the puck. This team has no speed, no flow, no cohesion, no nothing. Everything is just disjointed chaos and once in awhile one goes in the net somehow. While the Avs displayed quick, crisp breakouts from their own zone, the Caps are content to just hack it toward center ice to some other Cap usually standing still. The PP is awful, too. While some of this is coaching, most of it is talent. We just don't have very much anymore.

They have been headed for this for years. Trading draft picks away every year catches up with you. We can only hope for super tank jobs the next two years and that Miroshenko hits. Look at New Jersey.
On the other hand, I love watching the Avs. They could win 4 or 5 cups in the next ten years.
