I'm +/- on Laughlin, but I'd put Joe B up against any other broadcaster in the NHL and many other sports for that matter. He makes that duo.

You guys recall Mike Fornes(?) and Smokin Al Koken calling games. I hate Al as a play by play guy when he as filled in at that - Horrible. Couldn’t come close to keeping up with the play.
I recall the intermission phone call segments and people always ragging on Al’s hair. It really bothered him and he lost in in air a few times

I thought Joe B. was the guy on the right. The guy on the left looks like a young Al Michaels.

The guy in the right in the second pic looks like Smokin Al Kochen to me. How do you spell Al Kochen?
