Thank god the Caps are there on the back end of an Islanders back to back, maybe they will be a bit tired Friday after spanking the Leafs

A talking head on the NHL channel wondered if Tavares was the isles problem all along

I can only hope that the Isles aren't ready for the game against the Caps and we cruise to a big win. But knowing the Caps, they'll look like the tired team...

I wish they were fresh and hope they're ready to go.. Nothing like false hope. Lets see what they/we got!! The time for bullshit is fast expiring!! :uh-huh:

Well seeing how the Caps should be rested after two days off and they are coming off 2 wins, and this is an important game they should get up for and need to win.....
I'm kind of expecting a flat start, an early deficit followed by excellent play that's just short of coming back and tying the game, and a loss.
But hey, I'm a Caps fans, so NOBODY knows what Caps team will show up on any given day.
Go Caps.

If the team that played San Jose shows up ... we have a game.
If the team that played Anaheim shows up .... we have a rout.
Heads it’s San Jose, tails it’s Anaheim.

The Iles are the last team we wanna play. Not only are they are deadly, but there is NO contest behind the bench.
It’s gonna be beyond difficult for any player, or players, to make up for that advantage
