Wonder if they'll actually drop the puck before 1pm? Or is 12:30 just some NHLnet bullshit? :raspberry:
-
The Caps twit account has asked everyone attending to be in their seats by 12:00 for the Oshie tribute. But the NHL has proven the actual start time is not what was scheduled.
-
Aternoon chaps!
A game I might be able to last to the end........ :P
-
Awwwww. That was nice. :wow:
-
Almost brought a tear to my one good eye
-
puck drop at about 12:45, 15 minutes past the scheduled start time which seems about average for this league

Holding our own so far. Nothing spectacular. We're saving ourselves for the next period...... :-|

Not sure if it's the NHLnet or Jets announcers, but they're about as exciting as a doctors appt. :smirk:

Just to point out one thing: Once again today, the Caps had the schedule advantage. Winnipeg was at the end of a 5-game road trip, played yesterday while the Caps didn't, and then had to travel down to DC. The last two games we've played teams much above us in the standings, but with the NHL schedule the way it is, sometimes you have to play against that as well as the other team.
Credit to the Caps, though. THEY powered through the end of their road trip last week, and they are now winning the games they can win and the games they should win, for whatever reason. It sure looks like the days of wondering which top 10 pick in the draft we were going to get are about over.
